The UK is home to 15 National Parks one of which is the Brecon Beacons. The best way to explore the Brecon Beacons is to simply get in your car and drive. Our tour takes you through the Mountain Range which is home to rolling moorlands, ancient castles and thundering waterfalls. The Black Mountains offer panoramic views stretching far and wide, also hidden waterfalls are there to be found should you take the opportunity to park up and walk through woodlands to capture a solitary moment in nature. The ultimate spot though has to be the Mountain Road View Point between Llangadog to Rhosmaen.

Day One - Your Arrival

Upon your arrival to the hotel we will meet in the lounge area for 6:30pm where we will welcome everyone to our tour and talk you through the itinerary of the what’s to come. The evening then is yours to enjoy the spa facilities, relax with a few cocktails at the bar before dinner.

Day Two

Today we explore the Brecon Beacon National Park. We head east through the Black Mountains passing the majestic Llanthony Priory before heading towards the Pontysticill Reservoir. We continue on to our recommended lunch stop in the quaint village of Defynnog. After lunch we take the panoramic road from Rhosaman to Llangadog, stopping at the ultimate not to be miss photo opportunity point of Mountain Road View Point.

Day Three

We will all meet after breakfast in the car park for 10:00 am and set off on a journey around South Wales taking a selection of scenic country roads that offers fast stretches and thrilling twists and turns as well as impressive views to take in along the way. We arrive in the town of Lampeter where it is an ideal place for lunch. We then head to the small quaint town of St Clears where todays recommended checkpoint before making our way back to The Lake Country House Hotel & Spa in time to take advantage of the hotels fabulous facilities before our finale buffet meal to celebrate the end of the tour.

Day Four

Upon leaving the hotel after breakfast we take you to the Morgan Motor Factory. This is where the iconic British sports car has been carefully hand crafted and manufactured for over 40 years. You will get the exciting chance to visit and tour the factory before heading for home.
