Day Four

Our journey along the spectacular Scottish coastline continues south past Ullapool and towards the Falls of Measach. Turning West we pass Gairloch with awe-inspiring scenery of Wester Ross. We wind our way along the shoreline towards the wild Applecross Peninsular. Here is the chance to drive the Bealach na Ba Pass. This single track road with hairpin bends is not for the faint hearted but you will be rewarded with at the very top with magnificent views. If the Bealach na Ba Pass is not for you you can choose the inner road from Shieldaig to Ardarroch. Just a short journey on and we cross the spectacular Skye Bridge into the romantic Isle of Skye. Here we take the few miles to the Duisdale Hotel where we have two nights to soak up the undisputed scenery of the Isle of Skye.

Day Five

Wake up to a day at leisure to explore the beautiful scenic roads on the Isle of Skye and the many visitor attractions.

Day Six

Our journey makes a spectacular end as we depart Skye crossing the Skye Bridge and onto Eilean Donan Castle. The Jacobite rebellion in 1715 all but destroyed the castle which lay in ruins for 200 years, a 20 year restoration project allowed the castle to open in 1986 and a bridge was added to allow easy of access instead of travelling by boat. Today it is an undisputed icon of Scotland and is a must visit. We cross Shiel Bridge and take in the Five Sisters as we drive towards the finishing line of Invermoriston for a photo finish.

Departing Invermoriston we recommend taking the road through the Cairngorms national park before arriving at the Dunalastair Hotels Suites to celebrate in style with a finale buffet dinner.
